There is no upper limit on the number of times that you can give the exam, however, it is very important that at the time of your course commencement (if you are selected), you have a passing certificate of 10+2.
If you are still in class 12th and planning to sit for the NDA exam, then you can only start attempting the paper from the NDA 2 exam of that year in which you go or are in class 12th. You have to between 16 and a half years and 19 and a half years of age at the time of commencing your course. Therefore, you can sit for as many attempts in between that age limit.

As per the eligibility criteria, Your minimum age limit should be 16.5 years and maximum age limit should be 19.5 years. The Candidates should not born earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2003. The date of birth should match the date recorded in the matriculation or higher secondary examination certificate. Don't worry about the number of attempts of NDA examination because there is no restrictions about the attempts . You can number of times of this examination but your is not crossed 19 years at the time of appearing of National Defence Academy Examination
