The state authorities of Maharashtra would soon comments the second round of Neet state counselling. During the counselling registration the candidates are required to fill the choices in order of their preferences. There is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill in Maharashtra MBBS counselling so you can fill as many as choices you want. It is recommended that you should choose at least 25 options so that you could definitely be allotted a seat.
Based upon preferences submitted by candidates, NEET 2021 result, state merit rank, reservation criteria, eligibility conditions, and availability of seats you would be allocated one by DMER.

Directorate of Medical Education and Research of Maharashtra decided to conduct 3 rounds namely, Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-up round for filling up the seats through NEET UG Rank.
Through Maharashtra State Quota NEET UG counselling admission into 85 percentage of seats under State Quota and 100 percentage of seats in Private Medical Colleges are filled. Through Maharashtra State Quota NEET UG counselling, a total of 9,000 MBBS & 3,526 BDS seats in Maharashtra State will be filled.
