It requires 5.5 years..

The MBBS is a 5.5 year (4.5 years academic education + 1 year mandatory internship) UG degree program prompting the two degrees as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. The MBBS is a standout amongst the most looked for courses after twelfth science in medicinal field.

Mbbs is a 5 years course including training period as well.If you want to get a job as early as possible then you can become resident doctor in any hospital while you practising.MBBS is a very good professional degree course that's why it is of 5 years and it is compulsory for an student to pass every exam during Mbbs.I hope it helps alot...
