Hey!

BAMS is the study of  five and a half years  duration, including 1-year internship and Master of Surgery in Ayurveda is 3 years. Totally, 8 and half years for study.

The candidate  having  the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree is eligible to be called as a doctor and eligible to  do  the private practice. Job opportunities also exists in government sector. One can get jobs in government Ayurveda hospital as Ayurvedic pharmacist. 20,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month at the beginning of your career. After post-graduation and practicing Ayurvedic medicine, you can expect much better salaries. The employment sector would be Health Centres, Educational Institutes, Medical Tourism, Herbal Product Manufactures, Hospitals, etc.

Thank you.
