You can take admission in nits ; IIITs ; gftis and in IIT s :
If you have more than 75% marks in your 12 th boards exam ( for general and obc category students)
And if you are from st/ sc category than you have to secure minimum 65% marks .
Or if you are in top 20 percentile of your boards than also you re eligible to take admission.
So if you secure 70 % marks in general category but you are in top 20 percentile of your boards than you Can take admission.
So good luck.
Hi Gokul,
You should have either 75 % in your class 12th board examination or you should be in top 20% in your board. If you fail to satisfy either of above criteria, you won't be eligible for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs or GFTIs.
Below is the link for top 20 percentile cut off marks this year.

All the best
You need a minimum of 75% in your 3 core subjects such as PCM. If you have scored 75% or more you will get admission in NIT or iit colleges. If you have scored less than the above specified percentage you can take improvement exam and get good marks in it. Your jee main rank will be valid for 2 years. You need to take aggregate percentage of the 3 subjects. You should submit your 12th marks card and other documents during the admission process.
