Basically its depend from college to college beacuse some college take admission on merit basis and other take admission on entrance test conductes by them to test your knowledge, reasoning and aptitude.

Since you did not mentioned the name of any college or university so its difficult to say specifically about anyone. For more detailz you should memtion name of college or university.
