Let's clear the difference between Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT) branch.

CSE deals with computing, processor designing, personal and supercomputer to circuit design and writing software as well as robotics research. 2. Subjects of CSE includes Operating System, Database Management Systems, Automata, Language and Computation, etc.

3. Few subjects of both IT and CSE are Engineering Mathematics and some programming languages.

It's that you need to do more coding in CSE as compared to IT. We can also CSE works as backbone whereas IT manages everything.
