Dear Annu
It is not possible to predict the exact score (in NEET 2018) you will need to get admission in the desired states, since it will be dependent on the number of aspirants of this year, their preparation levels, and many other factors.
However, I can give you previous year data of MBBS admission in government colleges of Maharashtra and private colleges of Bangalore.
First, let's talk about Maharashtra,
- AIQ admission in Maharashtra Govt. Medical Colleges - In 2017, the lowest score which got admission in Maharashtra government medical college under 15% All India Quota (AIQ) counselling itself, was 566 (out of 720). The admission was allotted to SRTR Medical College, Ambajogai.
- State Quota Admission in Maharashtra Govt. Medical Colleges - Before I tell you the lowest score which got admission in state quota in Maharashtra, it is important to give a brief overview of state quota admission in Maharashtra. The state quota seats in government medical colleges of Maharashtra are filled in such a way that 70% of the state quota seats go to students from a particular region (namely Virdarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra) and 30% of state quota seats are open to all eligible for admission under state quota in Maharashtra. Now, amongst these 70% and 30% divisions, further 30% seats in each are reserved for women candidates (applicable to you).
- The lowest score which got admission under 30% seats of Maharashtra state quota (open to all eligible for state quota admission in Maharashtra) was 498 (out of 720). Two government colleges in Maharashtra allotted admission to this score on 30% seats, i.e. Government Medical College, Gondia and Government Medical College, Chandapur.
- The lowest score which got admission under seats reserved for women in 30% of Maharashtra state quota seats, was 497 (out of 720). Two government colleges allotted admission to this score on 30% seats reserved for women, i.e. Government Medical College, Gondia and Government Medical College, Chandapur.
- The lowest score which got admission under 70% seats reserved on the basis of regions in Maharashtra state quota (open to all eligible for state quota admission in Maharashtra) was 482 (out of 720). The government college in Maharashtra which allotted admission to this score on 70% seats was Government Medical College, Gondia.
- The lowest score which got admission under seats reserved for women in 70% region quota of Maharashtra amongst state quota seats, was 484 (out of 720). The government college which allotted admission to this score on seats reserved for women in 70% regional seats was Government Medical College, Gondia.
Now coming to private college of Banagalore:
- The lowest score which got admission on management quota (OPEN) category seats in private medical college of Bangalore was 493 and got admission in East Point College of Medical Sciences & Rese arch Centre, Bangalore.
Considering previous year matrix, it would be safe to target something above 500 or 550 (out of 720) in NEET 2018.
Hope it helps! All the best.
