There’s no cutoff list or opening and closing rank published by the university per se. But students do get an idea nonetheless, and since I’m a student here (Y20 CSE). I might be able to answer for the same
So the cutoffs for 2020 were as follows-
CSE- 97.1
CCE- 96.4
ECE- 95.7
MECH - around 95 (not sure about this one)
But do keep in mind that 11 lakh students appeared for JEE Mains in 2020. But around 14–15 lakh are expected to appear in 2021 (I do know that only 6.6 lakh wrote the January session, but trust me on this). So the cutoff percentile will increase.
But due to the massive improvement of placement scenario here (Avg. package of CSE grad was 14lpa and the college avg. was 12.2lpa), the cutoffs are increasing despite the fluctuation in number of students appearing for JEE.
So, due to both these factors the expected cutoff for your batch would be higher than ever-
CSE- 98 (or >97.7 at least)
CCE- 97
ECE- 96.2
MECH -95+
Hi,
The cutoffs changes every year depending upon the pattern and difficulty of JEE Mains, popularity of LMNIT, depending upon you home/state quota, reservation category and the demand of a particular branch. To get CSE in LNMIIT, you need to score atleast 160+ marks in JEE MAINS. If your rank in General category is less than 36000, you can get seat at LNMIIT.
