Salary of Neurosurgeons depends upon the sector of work (private/govt), experience and city of practice. During residency they are paid stipend which varies from 70k to 1.05L depending upon different state. After the completion of their residency they can either opt of private practice or join govt. In govt jobs they are given fixed salaries which range around 1.8 to 3.4L per month depending upon their post. If they opt for private practice the initial earnings are around 4L per month.
