See if the Person who is going for the Assistant professor then if he/she is active in research, then he/she can get promoted to the Associate Professor which have a monthly salary around Rs. 95k-1L after deductions.

Now if he/she isn't active in research, then the salary can be around Rs. 78-80k in hand (if the person starts with initial salary of 55-58k in hand).
