There is no set time frame. It depends on your levels of focus and harwork that you want to put in. Set daily syllabus goals. Write them down for each subject. Clear the place where you want to study. Make sure you have books, pen, pencils, water, everthing you need. Also make sure that you do not have anything that is unnecessary at your desk or at the place that you want to study.Once you start reading, make sure you do not have to step out for anything else. Then set an alarm for every 25 minutes. During this 25 minutes study, make sure you are studying uninterrupted. Then once the alarm rings, take a 5 minute break and then get back to setting an alarm for 25 minutes and then study again for 25 minutes and take a break for 5 minutes. Repeat like that atleast 4 times before you take your long break for breakfast or lunch or dinner. This will keep the brain active, prevents burnout and keeps you focussed for longer hours because you wont be exhausted or stressed. But make sure you follow the 25-5-25-5-25-5-25-5-25-5 pattern..
