Hii, As per your query about marks cutoff.. I would like to tell you it varies every year... It depends on lots of factors like difficulty level of paper and number of students getting that mark etc... It also depends on.. It will be different for Government, Private and Deemed medical colleges.... Also it will differ you applying from All india quota 15% or State quota 85%... Cut off of state quota is usually lower than all india quota.... Now in each of these quota its further divided into categories like OPEN/SC/ST/OBC..... Etc..

But for 0bc 3B category if u score 550+ marks in NEET 2018, you can get a MBBS seat in government medical college, bellary

Hi Sai Dhanush!

The cut-off for Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary in All India Quota for 2017 are as follows:

Unreserved Category: 7204 (marks could be approximately 550 above)
SC Category: 47199
ST Category: 62604

Please note that these ranks are not applicable for next year. It depends on how well you and the other students fare in the exam.

More than worrying about marks and ranks, I suggest you focus on your preparation. Here are a few tips:

Ensure that you are thorough with the NCERT prescribed textbooks, so that you have a strong foundation to tackle the questions.
Solve papers in a mock exam format towards the end of your preparation. Analyse them as well; outlining the strengths and weaknesses.
Plan your studies. Make a schedule of the topics you want to complete for the particular day, so that you don't waste time on deciding what to do. Don't keep the schedule rigid.
Ensure that you are enjoying from time to time. Maintain good health as well.

You should score 560 plus marks for Bellary/Vijayanagara medical college.

If you have this score you can go for govt medical colleges in Karnataka also. Also keep your aim high enough that when you finish off, you are in good college.

Basically the cut-off rank for general category in 1st counselling was 4349 and in 2nd counselling was 7204.
