National institute of Engineering, Mysore is a very good College in every aspect. The College provides excellent Campus placements for students. Every year 200 + companies visit the campus. Most of the companies are IT companies. CSE,IT and ECE people will be benefitted high. There is no guarantee in providing  placement to every student. It all depends on your Performance in Campus placements. But the College provides you handful of Opportunities.

I can provide you the previous year's placement statistics of NIE, Mysore for ECE branch candidates, so you can get a better idea.

According to the Placement Report of 2018 , there were 141 registered candidates from the ECE branch.

Out of these 141, 128 were eligible because they fulfilled the basic requirements like maintaining a certain SGPA, attendance, etc.

Out of these 128, 100 students from the ECE branch got placed in companies.

Therefore, 78.13% of students got placed.
