2) Which branch you want.

1) Computer Science engineering : rank : 40895, which requires a score of 130-135 marks.

2) Electronics and communication: rank : 143705, which requires a score of 90-100 marks.

3) Electrical Engineering : rank : 228802, which requires a score of 80+ marks.

You cannot get admission in Thapar university only on the basis of Jee main marks their are some eligibility criteria which involves your board percentage too.

There should be at least 60% Aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th class for General Candidates. For SC or ST category candidates the Aggregate marks should be 55%.

Talking about JEE Mains marks

For general category candidates, the marks should be above 72 - 75 marks in JEE Mains.
