Hi Nishad, KEAM takes into consideration your 12th standard Board marks and your KEAM score. So if you have a good mark in your board exams then your rank in KEAM will be increased.
For example, if your KEAM marks is 700 out of 960 and you have 75% in PCM in 12th, then you'll get a rank under 3200. With this rank, you can choose from the best engineering colleges like
If you have average marks in board exams, then you need to work harder than others to get good marks and a good rank. If you have category reservation, then it is very helpful to get a college of your choice.
