In 2019, Government of India declared a 27% reservation for OBC and 10% for Economically weaker section i.e EWS Catagory students for undergraduate and postgraduate for courses such as MBBS, BDS, MD,MS, Diploma and MDS from year 2021-2022 has become very wide in range for students to seek thier dreams.
But the EWS Catagory students should have to be clear about this eligibility criteria:
- Students whome family per annum salary should be less than 8 lakhs will be eligible for the EWS quota in NTA NEET.
- The candidate family must not have 5 acres of agriculture land
- The residential flat area should be less than 1000 square yards
- The residential plot area should be less than 200 square yards.
The cut-offs of EWS Catagory students in NEET is 275 marks out of 800.
