Dear Bincy, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of candidates appearing for the exam, no.of candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. But the formula remains the same. For bring eligible in NEET, a Candidate belonging to SC Category should score a minimum 40 percentile of the top NEET score. Now the top NEET score keeps changing and so we cannot predict a cut off. In 2018, under State Quota, 385 marks secured a seat in GMC, Palakkad under SC Category. That was the cut off for Govenrment Medical Colleges. It was 396 for Pariyaram Medical College. This was the cut off for SC Category under Government controlled self financing colleges. 364 marks secured a seat in Vencode Medical College. That was the cut off for SC Category in Private Medical Colleges. Now since 2018 and 2020, there will be a change in these cut offs. So you should aim for nothing less than 500.
