We don't have NEET 2019 cut off data for Govt. Vellore Medical College, but in neet 2018 , the lowest marks that got a seat in Govt. Vellore Medical College for general category under state quota was 430 marks

But cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So , you should try to get at least 550 or more marks in your neet 2020 if you want to get into Govt. Vellore Medical College.

Hussain, we have Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Univesities. And the Counselling happens at All India level and State Level. Now, you haven't mentioned your Category or the State you belong to. Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. If you belong to General Category, yiu will atleast need 500-550 and if you belong to Reserved Categories, you will need atleast 400-500. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the reamining seats are filled through Direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here you will need 400-550.-Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. Now for a seat in GMCs under AIQ, for General Category you will need atleast 575-650 and for Reserved Categories, you will need atlesst 550. Under State Counselling, if you have Reservation, you will need 550 and if you belong to General Category, then you will need atleast 625.
