how much mark should I want to score in jee main to get NIT trichy ? Are how much should I score in advance so that I get IIT Madras

Hello Krishven,

It totally depends on your interpretation of "get into". If you just want to get into any available branch then getting a rank around 9000 would do.
If you want to go for best (rank wise CSE branch) than rank around 1100 is a must. Around 2000-2500 you will get into some good departments.

Now your second question, i would tell you about the JEE advanced because it creates the main difference.
For general category,around 50 % marks will get you some decent branch . If you want to take CSE in old IIT’s you should score around 70 % marks.For electrical,ECE and other top branches,60% will be good enough.
