There is nothing called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. Try to score 520+. Then you'll definitely get a good medical college.

Try to score more than 500 marks in NEET exam to get government medical college in your state quota.
To crack NEET exam make sure your concepts are clear and you build strong fundamentals. You can take help of NCERT books for your preparation. Focus on important topics and chapters. You can also solve MCQs related to it. Refer previous year papers to know the exam pattern and level of questions. You should solve complete mock test series twice or thrice a week to to know your strength and weakness.

The cut off varies year to year. This year for 15 % quota seats for MBBS the score was required 563 & rank
8317 and for BDS the score was 544
& rank
12421 as a General Category. And for state 85%
quota seats as a General category it was required more than 500. So accordingly you can also plan for 2018.
