VITEEE never provides total mark scored by the student in the result. VITEEE result only provides your rank in the exam.
So, mark vs. rank is unpredictable for VITEEE.
It is assumed that a candidate should have to score at least 90 marks to secure a seat in Computer Science & Engineering at VIT Vellore campus under category A.
Below 7000 ranks in VITEEE will fetch you Computer Science & Engineering, under 13000 ranks will land you Electronics and Communication Engineering and under 19000 ranks will fetch you Mechanical Engineering at VIT Vellore campus under category A.

Hello Hemkesh You need to score enough marks to get you a rank about atleast 5500-6500 in VITEEE 2018. The closing rank for the Computer Science brank in Vellore campus of VIT was about 7000. Without management quota, your rank should be below 8000 to be precise for a confirmed seat in category 1 there. This year in Phase 1 counselling Day 1, ranks from 1-8000 were called and to my surprise all the seats of CSE branch were filled. Dont worry! If you dont get a seat in category 1, then you have to manage to get a rank between 20000-30000, then also your seat is confirmed in CSE branch but that would be under category 2 to category 4 (i.e fees increases as category number increases) and you have to pay higher fees than category 1.
