INORDER TO ENTER IIT FIRSTLY YOU NEED TO QUALIFY BOTH THE JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED.
INCASE IF ARE QUALIFIED IN ONLY MAINS IT WOULD ENSURE YOUR ENTRY INTO ONLY NITS AND RESPECTIVE COLLEGES,UNIVERSITIES IN THE STATE.
JEE MAINS CUTOFF FOR GENERAL CATEGORY IS 81 .ENSURE U PASS THIS STAGE AND MAKE IT INTO JEE ADVANCE AND IT WOULD INCREASE YOUR CHANCE TO GET INTO IITS.
ALL THE BEST.
To qualify JEE mains to give JEE ADVANCE, to be on safe side you should have percentile above 90. If you score 120+ in JEE MAINS then definitely you will qualify for JEE advance.
To get into IIT you have to qualify JEE Advanced and get a rank under 10000. To qualify JEE Advanced
1)Minimum percentage of marks required in each subject = 10%
2)Minimum percentage of aggregate marks required = 25%
Both the criterias should be fulfilled in order to qualify JEE ADVANCED.
From previous years cut offs, to get a rank under 10,000 you should get marks above 50% . If your paper is of 360 marks then you must get 180+ marks in JEE ADVANCE to get a rank under 10,000.
Hope my answer helps.
