VJTI ( Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute), Mumbai is a Government college and it takes admission through MHT CET only and only Maharashtra State students are eligible to take admission in this college.
if you belong to Maharashtra state then you should try to score more than 160 marks in MHTCET to get top branches in this college.

Without any Reservations :

To get seats in CSE dept u got to aim high, 280 is the minimum for the selection,in particular, CSE branch.

With Maharashtra State Quota :

Score 90%+ in Maharashtra boards exam and atleast 180+ in jee mains to get into vjti cs easily by second round.

For first round entry you must be in top 60 rank of Maharashtra that means u need to score 240 in mains and 94%+ in Maharashtra state board exam

VJTI takes admission through MHT CET.

For CS branch you need to score more than 180 marks and for mechanical you need to score more than 175 marks in your exam.

Yes, According to the news there will be no CET exam in 2018 it is replaced by JEE Main but in 2017 VJTI is taking MHT CET score.
