How much marks do i score in GATE to get admission in NITs?? (I'm from ST category.)

Hi there,
For upper tier NITs like Trichy, Warangal, Jaipur, Allahabad etc, cut off marks for ST category can go from 200-480, depending upon the course. For courses like Computer science engineering, ECE and EEE, it is as high as 340-460. For courses like Chemical engineering, Civil Engineering etc the cut offs are in the range of 280-350.
For lower tier NITs like Shibpur, Hamirpur, Srinagar, the cut offs are lower, in the range of 180-300.

inspite of thinking that how much marks you should score for having admission in NIT you need to give your best still approximately you need to score around 70 marks in GATE for having good NIT and its rank vary with students so you can have a probable Idea also by clicking on the below option:
