hi kunal, it depends on  whether you have state quota or not , but i would suggest that aim for 580 plus to be on a safer side, its high , i know but absolutely doable , so aim for it.good luck

Try to have score of 550+ marks in neet ug (for general category students), to have a high probability of getting a mbbs seat in govt. Medical college available , through all india quota counselling..

However there is some reduction in marks for cutoff, if you wish to have a seat through state quota counselling..

Good luck...

I think you are asking about cutoff scores for a government seat. See, this depends upon a no. of factors and will be declared only after the result declaration. But if you go by previous year trends, a score of 500 is good to get admission through 85% state quota and around 600 for all India 15% quota.

All the best.

Dear Student,

There is nothing called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. Try to score 550+. Then you'll definitely get a good medical college.

If you want to score good marks in NEET then just follow simple steps -

Clear your basic concepts.

Be thorough with NCERT textbook. Its a must.

Solve previous year question papers.

Take mock tests to assess your progress.

Solve questions from any reference book you prefer for competitive exams

Solve as much as numerical possible.

Use shortcuts to solve to save your time. Formulas to be at your Fingertips.

All the best.
