As you know the jipmer entrance exam is different from neet, the selection depends on percentile cut off ( UR- 50% and sc, st ,Obc -40%) and this percentile is calculated by the formula: your rank /no ofstudents who appeared in exam x 100. And it entirely depends upon the strength and rank of the students .

To get a seat in JIPMER, if you aren't a Pondicherry candidate, the cut off goes around 50 for general category and and 28 for OBC. It is lower for other categories.
But it is always good to be on the safe side and score at least 10-15 marks more than the cut off to get admission.
