In actual you don’t need Maths for being eligible for Medicine. A PCB combination will do the work but if you have taken Maths then you need to pass overall in your board subject combinations as well as individual subjects alike Biology, Chemistry and Physics for NEET , AIIMS and also JIPMER.
Hello Nivetha,
You have to score 50% marks in aggregate and just passing or more marks in all the subjects for the NEET examination and for AIIMS & JIPMER you have to score 60% marks in aggregate and passing marks in all the subjects.
Thanks for query on this platform, you may visit again for further queries.
All the best.
Mathematics mark is not considered for taking admission in MBBS. However it is advisable that you just secure a pass mark in your 10+2 in maths.

Dear Nivetha,
To give the NEET Exam for medicals they really don't check your Math marks, they do have a criterion for you, that is you need to pass in Chemistry, Physics, English, and Biology for appearing for the NEET Exam. If there will be any sort of Mark criterion then it will be from the medical colleges themselves. So, as long as you pass Math in your board exam, then you can go for medical as it isn't that important.
Hope that helped you!
