Now the counseling is divided into phases and these phases are on the basis of ranks.Now try to understand this:
Now the there are limited number of seat for each branch say 1000 in CSE Vellore campus. So what VIT does is It has categories like :
Category 1: fee around 1.98 lakhs seats 500
Category 2: fee around 3.07 lakhs seats 250
Category 3: fee around 3.95 lakhs seats 150
Category 4: fee around 4.75 lakhs seats 100
