How much marks needed by general candidate to get a seat in government medical college?

It is variable each year. However as a general idea, try to score above 540 for a government MBBS seat in state quota and above 580 for the same in all India quota. Aim for as high as you can.
All the best.

I think this year, the cut off and rank has got high. So a score of 560+ should get your a good college through all India Quota.

Hi Siddharth
For all India quota you atleast need to score 550 then only some good college is available
For state quota it depends but that is also more than 500
And keeping in mind though this time cut off is less
But students with good score are also more
So merit will gonna be high
So in a such a competitive era don't aim low
Give your full potential and achieve the highest you can

Hello Siddhart ,
The cutoff marks for admission into Govt. Medical college varies from year to year. However Score more than 500-510 out of 720 can fetch you a Govt medical seat surely if you're from General category.
