how much marks required in 12th for mbbs admission in physics chemistry and biology?

Dear Student,

The 12th marks does not help you for admission in MBBS. But minimum marks of 60% marks required for this and more than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is required. But for OBC/SC/ST candidates that is 40% and for PWD candidates it is 45%.

But the admission will be done through the merit list of NEET. So don't worry about the 12th result.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET 2020.


Minimum Age Requirement


Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2020.


Maximum Age Limit*


There is no upper age limit till the Supreme Court passes its judgement on it.

12th percentage required for NEET 2020 are separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in 12th to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

UR - 50%,

OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

PWD - 45%


Maximum Attempts


There is no limit on the number of attempts a student can make.


Nationality


Candidates who are Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply

Hello,

Admission to MBBS is based on merit in NEET UG. And the eligibility criteria to appear in NEET is that you must have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English. And you must have scored 50% marks or above in Biology, Physics and Chemistry taken together including practical and theory marks. For SC/ST/OBC category candidates it is 40% marks or above and for PWD it is 45% marks or above.

Your aggregate score of physics, chemistry and biology in your 12th HSC should be 50% and above for unreserved general categopry as per the NEET eligibility criteria. For reserved category there will be 10 relaxation that is 40% for SC/ST/OBC caste and 45% for Physically handicapped  students.
