E.) degree course of this University should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate, HSC (Std.XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or Central Board of Secondary Education (standard XII) examination or any other equivalent examination of a Council, Board or University. Outside the state of Maharashtra with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics AND Secured minimum 45 % marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 40 % marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. OR, Notwithstanding what is stated above, a candidate for being eligible for admission to First Year Engineering of Bachelor of Engineering ( B. E.) degree course in the branch of Biomedical Engineering / Bio-Tech Engineering course must have passed subject of Biology at the qualifying examination and has obtained minimum 45 % marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 40 % marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
