Hello,

It is difficult to specify the exact score as cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty level of exam, number of total seats available etc. It may increase or decrease based on the above mentioned factors. Also the cut varies from college to another. Analysing the previous year cut off you need to score minimum 500 marks or above to have decent chances of getting seat in a GMC.

Neet 2022 is so far that predicting any kind of cutoffs would be very difficult. West Bengal has many renowned government as well as private medical colleges so the cutoffs are usually high. Coming to your question, the cutoffs change every year and its vary from college to other. So it is quite difficult to predict any fixed cutoffs. However last year, 372 was the least marks requires for admission in a medical college for a SC Category candidate and that college was Shri Ramkrishna Institute of medical Sciences and Sasanka Hospitals, ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and Dr BC Roy Hospital government seats. 523 was the cutoff score for Sc category for Medical College Kolkata - the highest cutoff among all colleges. On an average, scoring 480 to 500 marks can fetch you a seat in government Medical college in West Bengal. Any score less than 480 will be risky as you can see this year due to high scores cutoffs are increasing. With 480 to 500 marks in Neet, you can expect Midnapore Medical college, Malda Medical College, IPGMER, NRS, RG Kar Medical College etc. You can check the cutoffs here http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal
For all India quota, the cutoffs are higher basically. So you should aim to secure 500 marks for getting top government colleges. Check the cutoffs through all India quota here http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

Hi aspirant,

The cutoff marks change every year. It's depends upon number of students that appeared in examination, number of seats available in colleges, difficulties of question paper, reservation catagory, previous years cutoff trends, etc.

According to previous years cutoff, a SC catagory candidates required at least 520 to 550 plus marks to take all India government seat in West Bengal and 400 to 450 marks for state quote in West Bengal for getting good government medical college.

You can use neet college predictor to know which college you may get with your marks. That is mentioned below:-
