How much marks should I score in neet exam to get government medical college???
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
It depends on your category, state, seat matrix and also the level of difficulty of the paper.
In 2017, the 15% AIQ cutoff went as high as 554 marks.
In 2018 it was around 541 marks.
(UR )
Some states like Rajasthan and Delhi have high cutoffs while others like Gujarat and Karnataka have comparatively low score.
But I would say a score of 550+ would be enough to get you a govt college in second or third round of counselling.
But still, try to aim higher than 600+ as it can fetch you a really nice college through AIQ and definitely the top 2 colleges of your state
I hope this helps.
Thank You
As cut-off marks vary year to year depending upon number of students appear in the exam and the difficulty level of the exam so if you belong to general category and if you are applying under 85% state quota seats then you should score above 500 marks and if you are applying under 15% all India quota seats then you should score above 550 marks to secure a seat in government medical College.i hope this information helps you.
Thank you
