For general category you should score above 500+ marks if you are applying for 85% state quota seats and for obc candidates you should score 480+ marks and for sc/st you should score 400+ marks to secure a seat in government medical colleges. I hope this information helps you.

Admission to Government Medical Colleges is according to the 15% All India Quota and 85% State quota. Kindly mention your state, category and name of the college in which you are aspiring to take admission.

It would be quite helpful if you could specify the name of your college in your question. However, as the cut offs will be higher this year, the trend will be to score atleast 400 marks for a private college. For a government college, you may need to score 500 marks to ensure a seat.
