Hello aspirant,

For a rank to be calculated, 50% of your puc or 10+2 marks and 50% of your total CET score is taken into account. After that they start arranging those corrected scores into order of rank list. In cases of ties between scores, the order is based on higher marks in individual subjects in this order of weightage : Physics , Mathematics , and lastly Chemistry. Thus ties are broken and the rank list is prepared.

Now a solid score is not always a good predictor of ranks. You can score above 90% in all and still end up with a 4 digit rank. It all depends on the boards, rhe KCET paper of that day and the scores of the people close to you in the ranklist.

Applications for Admissions are open.

Apply to VIT - VITEEE 2025

Hence I wound think you should have marks at least 130 to 150 to get a rank under 1000

Hope above information is helpful to you

If you have any quire's please let me know

Thank you
