How much marks to score for more than 90 percentile in cat?

CAT exam is normalized where even the least number of questions can fetch you good score provided they are correct and ratio of wrong answers is least and all answered in fastest speed.
Generally, 145 is the target score for above 99 percentile.
To gain expertise you should opt for TIME Mock Exam series and iron out your frequently made mistakes.

The difficulty level of CAT varies every year and hence it is difficult to define a range for crossing 90 percentile. Also the score released by the CAT authorities are scaled scores which is a normalised version of the actual score. In the last years the marks for 90 percentile had varied between a scaled score of 130-140.
