Hello,

To secure admission in to M.E/M.Tech through GATE you must score the minimum cut off marks. The cut off score for GATE 2021 was as follows category wise:

  • General category:33
  • SC/ST/PWD: 22
  • OBC-NCL/EWS: 29.7

Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To get seat in a decent college you need to score above cut off marks. If you belong to general category you need to score score minimum 45-50 marks or above, if you belong to reserved category you should aim to score above 40 marks in GATE.
