For students belonging to SC/ST or OBC category, a minimum of 40% marks must be obtained in the qualifying examination to be eligible for the NEETexamination. For students with loco motor disability of Lower Limbs, minimum marks of 45% are required for General-PH. For SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH, a minimum of 40% marks are required.

The minimum requirement for being eligible for NEET is -
- The candidate must have qualified class 12th with pysics, chemistry and biology/ biotechnology.
- A minimum score of 50% aggregate in general category must be scored by the student in class 12th. For reserved category 45% is the minimum score.
- The candidate has to be atleast of 17 years of age.

Qualifying Marks for NEET 2019
To fulfil the NEET eligibility criteria 2019, the candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually in the qualifying examination
Candidates belonging to the unreserved category should score a minimum required percentage of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in their Class 12 or HSC examination.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) should score a minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
For persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required in aggregate across Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
