Dear Pratikhya, you haven't mentioned your Category or the College that you want to get an admission in. To qualify in NEET, if your Category is General Category, you should score 50% of the Top NEET score. So, if the top NEET scorer has scored 500, you should score 250 to be qualified for NEET. It is 40% for SC,ST,OBC. And there is 15% All India Quota and 85% State Quota. Which means you can only compete for 85% of your State Medical Seats but can compete in 15% of other States Medical Seats. With any given data, even 400 is a very less score for securing a seat. Unless the top scorer scores only 600, you wont even qualify for NEET. So your aim should be for a better score, nothing less than 550.
Cut off of neet is 50 percentile for general category which roughly around 120 and for sc/st obc it is 40 percentile which is around 107 marks but getting just cut off doesn't mean that you will get a seat with this much marks but to get seat in a good government college through neet you need to score around 500 marks roughly and if you want to do mbbs from top colleges then try to score 600+ marks.
Thankyou
