Cutoff in wbjee vary each year and so it is the rank which decides your college. For wbjee under 1000 rank will assure your selection. In spot round even 1500 rank candidate have probability of getting the college. For good branches like cse under 200 is required.

There are many factors that are considered by the authorities while determining WBJEE 2020 cutoff. Some of the major factors that will affect the cutoff of WBJEE 2020 are-
Number of applicants in the exam.
Number of candidates appeared for WBJEE 2020
Availability of seats
Difficulty level of WBJEE 2020
Previous year cutoff trends
You will have to score 170+ .To get into JU, you need to get a rank under 800 and if you are going for Electronics , Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation etc., then you need a very decent score, your rank should be under 300 - 500. But, if you want to get in IT, Power, Printing, Construction etc then under 800- 1000 will do it for you. But for CSE your rank should he inside 150.
