how much number need for 99 percentile in JEE mains

99 percentile is a good score in jee mains because you are better than all those 98.9999999 percen students .

And when you calculate your rank your rank will be around 8-12 thousand ( vary according to the total students and their score it is just a predictable value according to last year's results ). Also the rank vary according to the level of exam because as the exam is easy you need to score more marks for the same rank when exam is of moderate / high difficulty level because every students do accordingly .

Generally in a normal level of difficulty you should score 220-240 + marks to get the rank under 10000

And if the level of exam is easy it will move upto 260 .

And if it is high difficulty level than it will be around 200-220 .

These all are just assumed values . So you should keep going and focus on the study only results will be better if you are well prepared .

Hope you are doing great.In the JEE examination if you score more than 325 marks out of 360 marks you may get 99 percentile.you have to answer correctly for minimum 80 questions out of 90 questions which carries 4 marks for each question in JEE examination.As per the previous year examination if you score 99 percentile , the rank would be around 8500 and above. you can definitely achieve by hard work.
