According to the previous year cutoffs trends, you are required to score 200 and above marks for securing 99 percentile in JEE Mains. Besides this if you want to go above this then you have to score between 285 to 300 marks. This will make your rank between 1 to 100. If you're score between 275 to 284 marks then your rank will be from 100 to 200 position. In sequence if you score 260 to 274 then you can expect a rank of 200 to 500.
You can appear for joint entrance examination for four times in the next year 2022. However there are no new dates have been announced by National testing agency. But you can expect that these four attempts will happen in the month of February, March April and May. Expected dates of joint entrance examination first attempt will fall in the last week of December.
