Dear Student,

If you want to take admission in Government college, you have to give an entrance test of a particular college. The Entrance test are on following:

1- Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE Mains)- This entrance test is for the admission to the National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTIs).

2- Joint Entrance Examination Advance (JEE Advance)- Students those who cleared JEE Mains are eligible for JEE Advance, this entrance exam is for the admission to the Indian Institute of technology (IITs).

3- Common Entrance Test - It is a state level examination for the admission to Government, Government aided and Private colleges of the states.

Hence every entrance test has their own criteria of conducting exams and cut off is obtained accordingly.

Cut off Marks for the Students of OBC category .

  • JEE Mains-  Minimum 70-72 marks out of 300.
  • JEE Advance- Minimum 6-8 marks in each subject, along with total of 54-58 marks.
  • State CET- Above 125 out of 200 to get admission in your desired Govt. College.

Note: Student first have to qualify HSC with at least 50% for State CET and 75% for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, IITs, in Physics chemistry and Mathematics.
