For software engineering their are is a big list of entranc exams that you can give and eligibility is different for diferent exam.
say for example:
1) UPSEE: Candidates must have qualified their intermediary or Class 12 examination from any recognized Board/Institution in the state of Uttar Pradesh or outside with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the subjects of Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject.
2)MAHA CET 2019:The minimum marks scored by the candidates together in Higher Secondary and MHT CET 2019 must be atleast 50% in case of general candidates and 45% in case of backward class, PDW and candidates of Maharashtra only.
3) SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam to be eligible for SRMJEEE 2019 with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS. However, candidates who are appearing in 10+2 in the academic year can also apply for SRMJEEE. It is to note that candidates who have completed both their 10 and 10+2 from NIOS will not be eligible for SRMJEEE.
