To be honest, anything less than 95-98% is less to get into IIMs. Each IIM has its own selection criteria and inspite of the reservation available, anything less than 95% will be less for being shotlisted for the next phase. Now there are baby IIMs that might have lesser cut offs but if you look at the average weightage they carry for being shortlisted, it ranges from 30-60%. Of course your Academic profile, Gender Diversity and Academic diversity do play a role but its the CAT weightage that takes the maximum share of the cake. To give you a glimpse of the cut offs for few IIMs for 2020, we shall share their cut offs:
