hi akshay,

To fulfill the NEET eligibility criteria 2018, you must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English. and if you belong to General Category should score a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 or HSC examination.

in case you belong to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) should score a minimum of 40% in their Class 12 or HSC examination.

For persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required

See there's nothing like required marks in boards to appear for NEET examination you just have to score a aggregate of 50% marks in physics chemistry and biology combined with if you have this criteria fullfilled you are eligible to appear for the NEET examination no other requirements of the boards examination besides passing12th.

This is the complete eligibility criteria for neet 2018---



Lower Age Limit: Candidates should complete 17 years at the time of admission or will completed on or before 31st December 2018

Upper limit : no



Unreserved Category (UR)Born before 1st January 2002

SC/ST/OBC CategoryBorn before 1st January 2002



Qualification Criteria



Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed the higher/senior secondary examination or ISCE which is equivalent to 10+2 examination after a period of 12 years study.

Subjects: Candidates must pass the above qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English.

Minimum Marks: Candidates must secure minimum 50% marks (GEN), 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC), 45% marks (GEN PH) & 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC-PH) taken together in PCB subjects.

Appearing Candidates: Candidates who are in the 12th standard can also apply. They must have to show the passing certificates complying with the percentage criteria at the time of first round of counselling.

Hello friend, for being eligible for NEET, what you need is aggregate of 50 % and for AIIMS, it is 60%.

75% or more than that is required in 12 th board exam for qualification of both JEE mains and NEET.

In website it is given that 50% for general 40% for obc.!!?

Hello Aksay , As per your query i would like to tell you

The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.





For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination must be minimum 40% instead of 50% for General candidates.





Further, for persons for locomotor disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required
