Hi,

To get Admission into B.tech course to pursue computer science & artificial intelligence, the candidate needs to score well in JEE Main exam & he/she must complete 12th board with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Maths as core subjects) with an aggregate of at least 60% from a recognized institute.

Admissions are based on JEE Main scores -25% weightage and 12th board average -75% weightage for 70% of the seats for stream 1. There's another stream for which admissions are based on Class 12 average marks for 30% of the total seats.

Then the total score will be calculated & a 'SASTRA rank 'will be provided & the admissions will be based on that rank. There will be different counselling process for both the streams, however, both the streams will be merged after the 2nd round counselling based on the number of seats left and seats filled based on merit.

Hope this helps.
