How much rank variation possible between round 1 and round 2 in comedk counselling ?

I want to tell you that the variation in round 1 and round 2 in comedk counselling is much larger in some of the branches like CS/IT/ECE.
Most of the comedk aspirants who attend the comedk counselling are in search of barnches like CS/IT in some of the good colleges of bangalore like Ramiah,Bms,Rvce....etc.
So these branches hold the most no of applications or candidates.

The question is very complicated as rank variation depends on a variety of things. It depends the most on the branch. For the branch-like CS and IT rank variation is very less, in some top colleges closing rank remains the same after the first round.
Then for circuital branches like ECE, EEE or ENI in top colleges closing rank doesn't change much but in lower college, there would be some 100-200 rank variation.
For other core and non-core branches, there is usually 100-200 change in each round.
