Hello

MBBS course is a five and a half years course in  which last one-year is rotatory internship period.

MBBS students get paid during that one year of internship only and not in their remaining 4.5 years.

The stipend they get during internship varies from college to college.

The MBBS students in AIIMS gets the highest stipend during their internship.
Im Aiims , Internsget astipendof around Rs 17,900 per month .

After the  completion of your mbbs you can have your own clinic or even join a hospital and the starting salary could be around 20,000 -30,000 , most of the students prepare for PG after mbbs

Thank you

A student doesn't earn anything because even if he/she is studying MBBS, her/his highest qualification will be still 12th. So if he/she is still studying MBBS, there is no income for studying MBBS. But yes, once the course is completed and the Student enters Mandatory internship, stipend is provided and this depends on the College and the State Government rules. What needs to be told here is that as a MBBS student you do not ger paid anything but you can still earn part time by teaching students in younger classes, or other part time jobs.
